PETRIe Magazine - Art Direction
Launched in 2012, PETRIe is an independent publication providing a platform for emerging talent. Our aim was to honour transparent, honest dialogue, and prize integrity, celebrating the under-looked, empowering the disenfranchised, and highlighting the inherent beauty of the marginal. During my time with PETRIe I acted as Creative Director and Co-Editor in Chief for the re-launch of their print and digital platforms in 2015, later taking on the role of Managing Editor and Creative Consultant for the print issues of PETRIe 68 and PETRIe 69. Together with the team I managed and commissioned over 150 unique projects, including collaborations with The Major of London, Youth Club Archive, Inspire! EPB and brands such as Christian Dior and Yoji Yamamoto. We particularity championed work with young people and emerging creatives, as well as those from underrepresented communities or challenging socio-economic backgrounds.
